Our journey began when we had the privilege of caring for our elderly and ailing parents for several years. During this time, we had the opportunity to connect with a diverse group of seniors, medical professionals, and navigate various situations. This experience has been a profound learning journey, teaching us valuable lessons about how people's needs, expectations, and dreams evolve as they age and face recurrent, age-related health challenges.

It became apparent that there exists a significant disparity between the desires and preferences of senior citizens in our society and the available infrastructure and services to address these needs. This realization served as the catalyst for our initiative to establish an NGO dedicated to providing a range of services tailored to serve senior citizens.

In honor of our beloved late mother, Mrs. Shiamala Prabhakar, whose boundless love and care inspired us, we decided to create "KARMA" as a heartfelt gift to benefit all the elderly members of our community.

At Karma , we believe in the power of collective compassion, and together with our dedicated team and generous supporters, we are committed to improving the quality of life for the elderly and promoting their well-being.
